I'm sure this is a dumb question but how do you set your FSB to 200? What bios are you using? I'm using 1002 and I only get 133 and 166, no 200. What are you doing to get it to 200?

Sorry to re-ask this but can anyone tell me where I could read up on voltage info on overclocking this board? hasn't anyone done it here? I'm looking for the multiplyers. It's a little ridiculous. you can't run the RAM at 200 Mhz to allow it to DDR up to 400, you have to run it at 133 which...

I'm going to throw another 256 Megs in tomorrow, but I'm still not sure about these two settings: When I try and address the FSB spread spectrum from .50% to 1% it refuses the change and leaves it at .50% AGP spread is the same. Can anyone explain why these can't be changed even though it...

It's me again, Ok... I get the following benchmark with 3dmark, it actually looks ok to me... I don't get it, but what ever the issue is I don't think it's the Motherboard now. Maybe I just need more RAM. Anyone have any thoughts? System Configuration Operating System Microsoft Windows XP...

the newer 1002.001 does not give you the option to Sync so I can't do that. You can pick a speed, you can Auto it, or you can go by SPD. Any thoughts?:confused:

OK, I got the 40.xx drivers for the vid card and that's all dealt with. I left the memory setting and it's just slow now. I can't figure this out. my old machine was a 1700 with the same vid card and a a7v266... memory was slow and everything. Battlefield 1942 ran really nicely. Now...

A7N8X-Dlx, Good ? Bad ? Why should I get one ?

I was one of the people saying I had a problem. I still am not sure how to do a couple of things, but I need to stress that as far as I can tell it's a great board, just crappy documention and it's shipped with a crappy bios. If you flash the Bios it greatly improves the board.

Cant even boot up my Asus A7N8X, need help ASAP!!!

Stack, Something that I once saw was a lack of spacers on the case. It'll stop the board from booting. You might try ensuring that all the spacers are inserted correctly. Just a thought.

yup, I set the CPU to 133 and it recognized the chip as a 2100+. I didn't change the RAM speed but left it set where it was. Given this You said "you set memory clock to be 100% of the FSB speed, and then begin lowering the RAM timings to something fairly tight like 2-2-2-5, 1T Command " not...
