I just went up to my local store (Altamonte in Florida) and picked one up. There was one more on the shelf when I left, I feel like I should have picked one up for a friend, hell a free TV tuner is awesome.
<< Still a ripoff! >>
I don't know what your beef with this game, or its coders is, but its an excelent deal for $19.90 plus shipping. Having beta tested this game I jumped right on the deal. Since my geforce 4 hasn't arrived yet I started the single player missions on a TNT2 Ultra in 800x600...
I wish my card would ship, jesus I placed my first order the 22nd of last month, and gosh what do you know its the 22nd again :|
I have a PNY on back order from another site for $338 so I guess I got the gateway deal beat......except I have to pay for shipping, but I bet if I complained about...
I don't know if I would use this as my primary monitor, but as a secondary it looks pretty good. 300:1 contrast ratio isn't to bad, and 25ms response time is good too (if its truthful some companies are not) and the viewing angles are decent. I don't think it has DVI though. Maybe one day it'll...
cool, looks like I"m getting some free work done on my car. :D
I purchased my 4Runner used so I doubt I'm going to get anything in the mail, guess I'll just call my local dealership and make an appointment
I'm a beta tester for this game and its really been a lot of fun. And I'm not sure if I'm supposed to but if you buy this game a future update will make it MUCH better
*cough* flying vehicles *cough*
although its still really cool right now. I might buy it for $26 (shipped) I just wish West...
<< i lost an eye and a Finger with these western toys.. beware of the finger gripping toy they are dangerous :) >>
What'd you do? use an eye gripper too? :D

something in the way the nForce was designed runs the pci bus independant of the fsb I guess. Maybe the twin bank memory architexture allows the speed of the CPU and RAM to be adjusted without effecting the PCI bus. I know I've read on Tomshardware and hardocp that you can up the FSB on nForce...
wow thats a good deal, cheapest you can get that ram off of pricewatch is $58 and THEN add in shipping. Two sticks of that would be perfect in an nForce board as a cheap gaming rig. Hmm athlon XP 1700+ with 150 Mhz FSB is 1650 MHz and on an nForce it keeps all your PCI cards in spec :D
Today I called Gateway and was told all Visiontek Ti4600 graphics cards would go out March 13th, and I was even upgraded to 2day shipping for free. Then just a short while ago I received the following Email:
"Dear ****** ********,
Thank you for placing your recent order with the Gateway...
after getting disconnected from the gateway accessory store 3 times I finally got to talk to someone for more than a minute. I was told ALL the Ti4600 cards will go out in one shipment on March 13th. I asked for faster shipping and they upgraded me to 2day shipping free of cost, but I still...
Oh yea and if you have Amex Blue you could price match it to a dealer from www.pricewatch.com and get some more cash back later on. MAYBE if your lucky you could get Gateway to price match, but I'm pretty sure they won't do it.
