You really should control that temper. I have a Gateway 2850 (21" widescreen, 1680x1050@60hz) and an nvidia 7900 gt co (evga). I have no shimmering, neither can any of the 5 people I've had over see any. I do have extremely high quality HDMI cable though, and it's a short run. Please don't...

I guess I need to be more specific in the future, this is my third post getting responses with questions I already answered. I *am* using the 84.20 drivers, I.E. the beta drivers on Nvidia's site.

Once again, I'm not asking about conroe! I'm asking about the 805d! :) http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd/nt/nt_proc.htm The 805 isn't listed as supported on any Intel motherboard. That's why I'm asking.

That is correct. :) Next question is, will any of the intel branded motherboards support the 805? I'm looking at the: BOXD945GNTLKR (945GNT) made by Intel. Their website lists 800 series, but doesn't say 805. just 820+. It looks nice (and cheap). 2 gigs of DDR2 800 ram is about 250+150 for...

Good motherboard made by Intel for 805d?

I'm looking at picking up an 805D as a stop gap between my 2600+ xp and conroe. I just want a decent Intel motherboard that supports the 805. Intel's site doesn't seem to be updated though. I was considering the "Intel BOXD945GNTLKR" (945GNT) mobo. I know I'll have to upgrade the mobo later...
