Perfect scalability confirmed
TR will produce double the perfomance of Ryzen
The question is with the given Zen arch, is it possible to isolate CCXs and boost clocks of the cores in an uncorrelated manner?
The only thing i have to remind you is that two months ago, hardly anyone believed the Chinese rumors about a X399 platform from AMD, nor AMD had confirmed any related information.
Well the X399 platform is being released this summer...
So Pinnacle Ridge (2018) will be 14nm+. That OK.
Could we expect RR desktop (we know that mobile RR will launch end 2017) launching 2018 will fall into Pinnacle Ridge batch, or it will be the same as the mobile version ?
So according to yesterday's event, there won't be a Pinnacle Ridge RR version. Just what we know till now, and at 2019 the 7nm Gray Hawk.
Pinnacle Ridge seems to be only for Ryzen CPUs.
They own the patent of ZRAM since 2015, which is by far more effective than DRAM. But for some unknown reason they don't implement it in cases like the APU for example.

Maybe the APU with the Vega cores, won't be such competitive, if the big Vega looks like that:

case CHIP_VEGA10:
adev->gfx.config.max_shader_engines = 4;
adev->gfx.config.max_tile_pipes = 8...
