Text is not clear when running @ 1280x1024 w/ mini dock

If its just the text, try turning off cleartype and using "standard" in display properties>appearance>effects. You can also try turning it off. If that doesn't work, are you connecting through DVI or analog?

What speed memory should be used in a 600m?

Ok, I bought my 600m, its a 1.6 P-M with a 400mhz FSB. The funny thing is that the memory it comes with is listed on the Dell site as 266mhz. I took a look at my friend's pc, he has a 1.3 ghz 600m, and the FSB is listed as 4x100 (with a multiplier of 13). So does this mean I need memory...

Yeah, I'm going with the 32 MB card and SXGA+ screen. There's a funny thing I noticed... the FSB speed is 400mhz, but it comes with 266mhz speed memory. I ran sandra on my friend's 600m and it lists the fsb as 4 x 100mhz (he has a 1.3 ghz so it uses a 13x multiplier). Does this mean (if I add...

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't think I want to start preparing for Longhorn just yet. I think I'll go with the 32 unless someone else knows of a reason why the 64 would be better.

Apparently this code can be used for any item you buy. I'm gonna chance it and get a 2 port firewire PCMCIA card for $17 shipped... not a bad deal, about $4 cheaper than anywhere else I could find. Edit: used 1 time use card number... weird, didn't ask for that little number that is usually...

Sabatier 14 pc knife set with block 14.99
