My store doesn't open until noon so I wonder if people will still camp out tonight. It's supposed to hit -6 here tonight, which means about -15 with the wind. I think I might drive by tomorrow morning just to see the human popsickles.
I spent two hours trying to get in. When I finally got to submit my order, I got an error saying that the item was no longer available. :|
Oh well, maybe my local Sam's Club will have a few available. They open a few hours early for business members so maybe I'll get lucky. Too bad they...
Sounds like a typical customer service system. Two different callers get two different answers from probably two different reps. Neither one probably knows anything about the situation. The one I spoke to had an accent so strong I could barely understand her.
It wouldn't surprise me to see Xbox 360's selling for at least $800 on ebay. Still doesn't make it a very good deal. Now Sanjoelo's suggestion sounds like a much better deal.
I can't get the 30% off $1499 Inspiron coupon to work. Dell has added some 10% memory and storage upgrade offers which are automatic and aren't compatible with the 30% off coupon.
No regrets on getting the white instead of the black. While I think the black is definitely cool, I just kinda like the classic Apple white. Since the black has taken off so well, it will be interesting to see if they come out with more colors, maybe as limited editions.
As far as sound...
My white 4 gig nano just arrived. I can't get over how tiny this thing is. It easily fits into the coin pocket of my jeans. The screen is very sharp as well. Haven't had a chance to listen to any music yet cuz I had it shipped to work and all my mp3s are on my home computer.
lordbob99: that one uses USB to connect to the computer but still uses PS2 ports for the mouse/keyboard. I have a USB mouse and keyboard and would rather not use PS2 adapters. I wish I could find an affordable one with DVI support but I have a feeling that's wishful thinking.
I received my drive on Thursday. I contacted Dell about the rebate and got $20 credited back to me. After arguing with Dell CSRs about similar rebates in the past, its nice to see them taking responsibility for this one.
