And judges are lawyers too; what's your point? Bush is an idiot by the way - I'm sorry, but he simply is. I'm clueless why 50+ million people voted for him. I watched the debates. He told me 100 times that (1) the war was going great; (2) the economy is doing great; (3) we have tons...
Lawyers are regulated, and they do not get off scott free. People think that physicians are being slapped with frivilous suits, but if that were true then the physicians would get off. Why? Well obviously, if the suit is frivilous then it will be thrown out. If it is not frivilous, then a jury...
I have the NEC FP2141SB. Had it for about a full year now. Bought it from Dell when they had a 10% off sale going with free shipping - shipped to my door for $561 and holy smokes... I've never witnessed something so incredible before. It's hands down the best monitor known to man. When I got it...
Read this: http://www.tweakguides.com/Doom3_1.html
And http://www.tweakguides.com/Doom3_10.html has a link to the HUMUS mod. It's a mod created by ATI which speeds up the X800 series about 40%. My X800XT is now faster than a 6800 Ultra. The link goes here...
You get smoother gameplay. I fixed the issue though (I had simply unpacked one of the files to the wrong dir; all fixed and the fps in the scores didn't change so no worries). But yeah, if you unpack them, you'll get smoother play.
I get mine tomorrow (Monday morning) shipped overnight from Newegg. So Monday night I should have some benchies up of it. Good cpu too -- 2xXEON 3.6ghz @ 960fsb.
Here's what you do. Find ALL the online stores offerring the X800XT and then select the ones that have "Notify when In Stock" and sign up for that. I did that to about 20 stores. Newegg was the first to notify me a few days ago and I picked up a X800XT from powercooler with a gey backback + HL2...
What I don't understand is no best buys are going to carry the 6800 ultra. Why? They say it's a "high theft" item. But explain that to me... isn't anything with a high price on it in best buy a "high theft" item? And they have no problem selling ipods for $500, and dvd players for $500, etc, all...
Sure you could do that and then you could wake up the next day to find that your ram will no longer OC to 420, but now is stuck at 390... has happened to quite a number of people on various threads.
@woodscomp
Price not only classifies something as a hot deal; availability can also classify it...
Well you have to figure a few things. No one is selling it for less than $499, and most places you get it for $499 you'll have to pay taxes, like compusa for example; but not at newegg. So it all comes out in the wash really. Plus you get neweg's great service behind it - meaning when they say...
No, reseller ratings can sometimes mean nothing. Gateway sells thousands of products every day, and how many ratings are there for them? 6? Typically only people that have problems with their orders post replies on there, so for every 1 negative, you probably have 1000 positives. I'm not saying...
