Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4

Hello all, just wanted to check in on the Tab Pro 8.4 option. It appears to be on sale for $250 on BestBuy. At that price, is it worth it? Is the battery life still as bad as initial reviews suggested? I'm going to be using it primarily for PDF reading and web browsing. Thanks!

Looking to upgrade from HD5870

Yup, have placed the order, now comes the worst part: the wait. The space isn't a problem, I have a CM 690 and made sure everything would fit. I guess 3GB is more than enough for my purposes for the foreseeable future, and the card looks awesome!

Hello all, I'm currently thinking of upgrading my GPU (MSI HD 5870) which has served me long and well but may sort of be dieing after nearly 4.5 years of loyal service. I'm on a tight budget (USD 200) and would like to stick with AMD cards (unless they're REALLY compelling reasons to go NVidia)...

Surface Pro 2 is incredible

Yup, so I was running a similar power setting (and had brightness at around 35%) and have been getting the same hours as you. Looks like the firmware updates did do something worthwhile! Just as an aside, are you thinking of getting the power cover? Am a little torn on this, especially...

Surface Pro 2 is incredible

Are you on the Pro or Pro2? Haven't really pushed the battery with the Pro2 after the updates yet. If you don't mind me asking, what settings are you running with to get those sorts of figures? Pre-update, on 'balanced' I was getting about 6-6.5 hours.

Anyone have a Surface Pro 2? Any reason not to get it?

Classic shell is great, and I use to run the SP2 as a straight win7 laptop replacement. It leaves me with enough flexibility to use it in 'tablet' form as well. I've tried running this with a usb hub and an external display. It seemed responsive and I can see the upside of having a laptop/tablet...
