nah you can only use ddr ram. if ya read the specs from that link there are only 2 dimm slots that support ddr ram. www.crucial.com has ddr ram for $100
i have the g450 running at 1024. the difference will be noticable if your monitor can pick it up. if you arent gonna use the dualhead at all i would keep the mx

yea, fixed a few booting probs. i havent had the time to check the vcore settings that they say they added or fixed. i heard that for the raid version they upped the mempory performance.
my KA266 is great. 1gig AXIA @ 1320, 146fsb cas2. i get 645/840 on sandra memory benches, and 7220/8300 on cpu mulitimedia. the memory could be higher but ~20m/s isnt really noticable in real life work besides benches. its very stable and really have no probs with it
grr. when trying to run Sandra with a Matrox Card my computer freezes and restarts. in the FAQ file it tells about a driver issue. does anyone know a hotfix for this? btw it ran fine in win98 but once win2k was installed forget it. i assume the change in drivers did this.

before installing the drivers for the KA266 eveything looked fine. after eeek, each icon had like pixel noise around it. after uninstalling the driver windows freezes and asks for a pci bus to cpu controller. Anyway my Q is: if it works w/o the Ali divers are they needed? it sounds like they...
