well, if I access the services needed locally it works. It's when I try to access them externally that is doesn't.

Ports Not Opening on Router

I have a DLink DIR-655 and trying to open ports to direct trafic to a file server I have. I've opened ports in port forwarding as well as virtual server, and running a portscan they still remain closed. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.

MSN Meggenger SOCKS bypass?

Can I backdoor through my company router which has just blocked the MSN Meggerger program from working? Can I set up a SOCKS port to get through?? How would I go about finding a way around that router? My IT made me a bet I couldn't do it, and I know I have before...

Can someone review this monitor for me?

so this monitor combined with my 6800GToc would be a nice combo? Is it 24 or 32 bit color? ie can you see dithering in the colors?

Can someone review this monitor for me?

the 8ms is great, but does it do it? Specs on Hyundai's site say 16.7 mill colors (32bit) but reviews say 16.2 (24bit) is 150 degree angle really that bad? help me out here. newegg 389, 401 shipped is killer

Hyundai L90D+ LCD $340 no rebate/shipping @COMPUSA

As of this morn, New Egg has it at 399, its now down to 389, 401 shipped. The only thing that bugs me about this monitor according to specs is the low view angle and the 24-bit color. I'm a graphic designer and I know I'll be able to tell a diff.

Maybe I should wait for Guild Wars. The beta I played was great, as long as you had 5 others to play with ingame (the computer as a teammate is not as fun). Plus...NO MONTHLY FEES!

How do I capture video from my MiniDV camera?

I have the same issue with my panasonic miniDV cam...my usb connector into the pc recognizes the cam, but I cant pull it...I havent tried to import from premier but that should work
