Wont start up/ board led lit

Have a Asus a7v133 in an Enlight case that has problem starting up. Problem getting worse. Hit sart button and sometimes nothing. Opened up and checked switch/appears ok plugged back in -nothing, board LED on. Let sit and bingo it started. No problem once it is running. Problem seems to be more...

Another DOA needing help.

Just put a new Chaintech board in with just vid card, ram and a Duron. Hit the switch and nothing, no fans, no beeps just silence. Plugged the old board in and it starts so no problem with supply or switch. Besides the obvious , bad board, what else would cause this? Trying to find out if the...

After my last reload and manual update from the website I found the LU icon. I changed to maunual and got the error that it could not find my ISP. May have to manually set up the connection, when I figure out how to do that. None of the express modes will do anything since no ISP shows up on...

Broad band & Norton update Problem

I am running XP home. The ISP is InsightBB cable. I have been looking in all the help files and have found nothing. I am about ready to format and start over. There has to be something telling NIS that it shuld run Live update through a modem thats no longer in the machine.

Thats one of the problems. There is no configure button. I just removed udate and reloaded again with no change. About to get me upset.

Norton Ghost

Have you tried just making the bad drive slave and putting it back in, and accessing it from the drive that will work? Its possible you may be able to get to the files that way. I'll do that a lot when I change drives just to copy directly to the new drive.

I have been running Norton Internet Security with out problems for about four months useing dialup and modem. I just changed to Cable broadband this weekend . Now by Norton update says " Live update could not connect to your Internet Service Provider. Verify your dial-up information is correct."...

I have had XP running for a few months and now messenger wants to start popping up . I have never used it and dont want it. Before it allways had the X accross it but now it pops up when I go online. Any suggestions??:confused:

Proper bios setting for processor? Help

I set it that way last night and it seems better. Was also thinking of going to the 1012 bios. it has 1010 now. I was wondering if the 1010 has the 2500 at the upper end of the support limts.

Problem on Rebbot -Win98
