If I get that issue resolved - Can I turn on RAID and make the OS drive an 'array' by itself (I only have one) and have the other two 500G drives be their own array? In the RAID BIOS I can see that I can set up multiple arrays.
Got a new custom built machine today that I am going to be using as server. Can't remember the brand of motherboard (it is at work). It has Raid 0/1 on the motherboard, and 4 SATA connectors. I had one 250G installed, and I went and bought two more 500G drives in the hopes of creating a RAID1...
QuickSilver - thanks for the info. I was hoping to do it with the built in unzip (right click--- extract) without having to download anything. I'll do it your way if I have to. I would think (there I go again) that if it can be done with a right click it can be done with a command line.

Does anybody know the command line equivalent of the Windows Explorer right click 'Extract' menu option? I need to script the unzip of a zip file that I am downloading.

I bought a great machine that was advertised in the for sale section here awhile back. I wish I could find the thread so I could tell you what kind of case/mb I have. I really don't know.
Anyways... the case has one of those variable speed fans that goes faster/slower depending on the temp...
