So, I made a new system: CPU: AMD phenom II X4 965 BE MOBO: M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 RAM: CorsairCMX4GX3M2A1600C9 And the MOBO doesn't support the RAM, but I still bougth it and now it runs too low, so can i OC the ram by itself or do I have to OC the CPU too, to match the frequency?

Out of the loop for a while -what's the best "bang for buck" OC CPU at the moment?

SB, if you can't wait : AMD phenom II x6 1055T, that's an affordable OC'ing CPU.

Hello, i just installed CPU-Z on my PC and it states this: -core speed: 803.9 MHz -Multiplier: x4.0 -Bus speed: 200.9 MHz -HT Link: 2009.0 MHz phenom II x4 965 BE Asus M4a88t-M/USB3 Corsair XMS3 4 gigs of ram. CM hyper TX3 and a few more things, but wich are irrelevant to the...

So i'm building my first PC myself today, and i just read the manual of my MOBO: One bit says: ''Before handling components, use a safely grounded wrist trap or touch a grounded object or a metal object.'' Does that mean that i have to touch the case for all the time i spend building...

So i was wondering if an asus m4a88t-m mobo would be compatible with corsair xms3 1600mhz Ram (9-9-9-24), as i couldn't find any info on google. So has anyone got any experience with an Asus m4a88t-m and 1600 mhz ram? thanks already!

intel 760 or 955BE?

i'd like that promo, but i live in the netherlands, so that 460 would amount to about 500 euros to get it in the netherlands... As for everyone else, thanks! I think i'll take the 760 system for my friend =P, thanks for the great help!
