i have motherboard monitor 5 installed on my celly566 system, but it doesnt show the temperatures of my cpu, why could that be?

what is a best fan for my Celeron 566

just ordered a golden orb with some sort of thermal grease already appplied to it....should i remove it and apply some other sort of compound?

hey, whats up all. as of right now i got a poopy radioshack fan, and my computer is running at over 60C, and i know it WAAAAAYYYYYY too hot. i'm wonderig what is the best fan setup i can buy for my Celly 566 to keep it cool. what do u guys think?

Celeron problems

i recently got a Celly566, and been running it for 2 weeks. i only have a heat sink and a fan on it, without the thermal tape and i wanted to find out how much of a difference thermal tape/compound makes, and also, whatahell is it anyway? how does one apply it? my computer is acting weird, it...

Just did my first Overclocking...got some Questions.....

my heatsink and fan combo came from radioshack, so they are nothin special. yeah, the temperatures are in celcius and i got them from my bios. as of right now i'm satisfied with celly at 700, but when i'm gonna be thinkin of farther overclockin i probably should get a more serious fan. i'm using...

thanks for the tip, but i already know my systems temperature because my bios provides me with that info. i just need to know what are safe temeprature ranges for my Celeron 566? How hot can i run it?? and if i should overclock more?

Poll: overclocking celeron 566e?

i just got my celly 566 two days ago, and i got it up to 706 so far without a single problem. we'll see what happens.... whats a safe temperature for the CPU and the system anyway. my CPU is at 78 and system at 27.

i meant to say that my system temp is 28-30 and my CPU temp is 76-80 or so. what is highest temp i can run my CPU at? thanks

Just did my first Overclocking...got some Questions.....

i just overclocked my Celeron 566, right out of the box up to 700 but changing the settings in my bios to 83 Mhz and 8.5. When i boot up, it now says that my processor is running at 700Mhz. My question is, does it mean that since it says its running at 700 at bootup, it actualy is, since i didnt...

my motherboard says to support Celeron PPGA 433-633 and up at 66 MHZ FSB and Pentium III FC-PGA 450-950 at 100/133. now my question is, if i get a 566 celeron which is a FC-PGA, would it work on this motherboard, or will i have problems because it only supports PPGA Celerons? Also, the jumper...
