What CPU can I use that requires a heatsink only without a fan!?

I think most hard drives make more noise than good 80mm fan. So if you are building a system with a normal EIDE hard drive, you can not get absolutely quiet system. So don't let this noise issue limit your choice of CPU. Just get a good Heatsink like Alpha 8045 and put a nice 80mm fan on it. I...

Athlon 1900+ & InWin A500???

I bought InWin A500 and Athlon 1400 with a cheap HSF a few months ago. This setup sucks! very noise and hot! The CPU could reach as high as 59C and system Temp as 40C when the ambient was only 20C something and it sounds like a jet. But I didn't want to mail the case back, it cost too much. So I...

strange problem when ghost Win2k

<< A suggestion: Change the physical postion the 2 HDD, ie. switch the 2 sockets that the two HDD are plug in, or if the 2 HDD are plugged the same cable, change the master/slave setting of the 2 HDD. >> I might try that after I finish some work this week. Thanks!
