Funny thing. I unplugged all the internal power cords that were not needed and made sure all the others were tight. Still didn't work. So I unplugged all the external connections and moved the computer near the other one planning on using the PS of the other computer. I decided to test it...
I have had this computer 2.5 years. Haven't opened that case in 8 months. I shut it off and two hours later it wouldn't boot. I have an MSI motherboard (K7T266Pro2-RU) with a Athlon XP 1700+. The MB has a D-bracket indicating 4 red lights. Meaning it is haulting on the CPU check. MSI sent...
I was wondering if there was any way of created a field name or field name default from a combination of the values in 4 other fields. Basically I have 90,000 devices on 11 wafers that are mostly unique. I would like to build an access database to keep track of the information. The only...
I guess it depends on where you live. Like I said here they don't pull you over for less than 10 and that when they are in a bad mood. I know a lot of cops that think it is a waste to pull someone over for less than 17. But then again here if you are not going 10-15 over on a 3 lane street...
13 that's it? You could probably argue that where I live. Cops don't even pull you over unless you are going over 10 and the photo radars are set to 11 over.
Not the legal note. Since it is a civil case and not a crimal case it probably is legal, but will vary from state to state. The best...
I personally think nothing holds with the RIAA argument anyway. They say sales are down 31% in the last 3 years. They are lucky then! There are a lot of industrys that sales droped more than 31% in the last 3 years. There also hasn't been a lot of good music coming out either, especially for...
I have a MSI GF4-Ti4200 VTD8x. I am using a dual display and the S-video in. It seems that the input video can only be displayed on the windows primary monitor. When I try to drag the window to the secondary monitor it either gets corrupted or displays an error message "Due to the limitations...
Here is a link I found with a similar problem. It seems to be related to the Ti-4200's. Hopefully this will help.

I have used there web service, but haven't gotten an e-mail back yet. I figure since they make both the video card and motherboard they would have an answer, but you never know. I just don't want to wait to long because I don't know how long Newegg will let me return the video card or...
I had the same problem with a customers computer. It was the HP office jet driver. I uninstalled the driver for fax etc, and only installed the print driver and it worked fine. That if you have one of those. If not drivers are listed under system so look into that.
I haven't really heard any good things about ECS, athough I don't hear really bad things about them either. I do know that I would blame Fry's. Everything I have every bought from them seems to not work. Do you ever look at the return line when you walk in. There's always a line of 8-10...
Yes, I did uninstall the drivers first. I have a question. How much of a loss will I actually get from turning off the AGP8X and running it on 4x? It is a Geforce 4 Ti-4200 with 128MB of memory. I can't really see it ever needing to use the system memory.
I've tried the bios, it didn't work. I have also tried Directx9, newest video drivers from MSI (4172), newest NF2 drivers from MSI, there is no video bios. I'm running out of ideas. I am am trying to find my USB to PS/2 adaptor to change the mouse port and see if that fixes anything.
No, I'm only using the USB mouse. The keyboard is PS/2. I'll try updating the bios. I am only one version behind and it didn't really say anything in the update that sounded like it would fix the problem. There are no conflicts in the device manager. Thanks.
I have also tried different...
I am building a new system for a friend. I bought an MSI K7N2 and a MSI TI-42008X model vtd8x. When I use the scroll on the USB mouse the video goes in and out. It mainly happens if I do it quickly. It only happens when I am in a program that can scroll. It won't happen if there is no...
