So, any idea which boot image works? the ones on the first disk seem to be install boot disks..

because i don't know how. Every time it tried to boot into windows XP it gave me a read error 25. so loaded up windows xp, went into repair mode and did fixmbr

I had to remove grub because it wouldn't let me boot into windows XP, and had to boot from a floppy to get into redhat 8. Well, the floppy was booting into an older kernel version, so i attempted to fix it, and bye-bye boot floppy. I'm new to linux, if it isn't obvious. Is there a way to make...

I don't understand what you mean I meant the subnet is 255.255.255.0 , the gateway and dns are blank. Here are my settings My computer / WinME Computer ip 1.1.1.1 / 1.1.1.2 subnet 255.255.255.0/255.255.255.0 gateway none/none dns none/none i'm not sure what setting to put in there thanks

Don't use a lot. when it dries out just get a spray gun and spray some water on it, since it's waterbased. you'll use less/waste less money. there's a hot deal. :)
