Windows XP problems booting.

The last time I saw that error screen, the HDD died within the week.

Monitor Dying?

Thanks for the reply. We're shopping for a new monitor. A disgruntled teenager is suspected of sabotage. I'm going to take a CRT over there today and then try poking out some pixels on the broken LCD.

Keyboard will not function and locks up PC

Hi. Sorry to butt in, but I have the same problem as MCXOx9 or is that 0x9. I want just to add that my wireless keyboard and mouse with a PS/2 connected receiver function properly when attached to the same computer. Is that because they have support software and drivers whereas Windows XP should...

Thanks. So,if I take a some cat5 and a pair of 45 connectors and the connectors facing the same way, I put both BLUE left, etc. , instead of one left and the other right, etc., I'd have a crossover cable?
