I wasted a ton of money on those and am in the process of replacing them right now with my new build. IMO they don't move as much air as advertised and after a couple months 2 of the 4 of got a strange humming noise. I would not spend the money of them. Get Yate Loon's or Panaflo's or even Scythe's.
Oh man that DFI looks tastey : ) Anybody know what the lowest latency DDR2 1066 that is out or is going to be out in the next couple of months? I think I may pull the trigger on the DFI/FX-62 and would want to give it some memory it could take full advantage of. So far this kit looks like the...
napes22 if I can kick this cold I'll try to get it installed this weekend and give ya some feedback. Otherwise its gonna have to wait a bit. I'm sure rappy will have his in before I do so maybe he will have something to say about it.
Tsuwamono I'm in the same boat as you. Get the toys while you can!!!!!!! Cause once the bank accounts merge the high end buying is mostly done. I work in web develelopment and have an excuse to build new rigs from time to time to support side job work, but $1200+ on a set of video cards is hard...
Posted elsewhere with no response so hopefully I'll get one here.
Which would you go with. I can't decide:
Scythe "DF series" 120mm Super Silent Fan - L Speed
or
Yate Loon 120mm Silent Case Fan - D12SL-12
I want as quiet as possible at stock voltage/speed and don't know if the...

I want as quiet as possible at stock voltage/speed and don't know if the manufacturer dBA ratings are reliable with these brands or not.
Just spoke with ASUS USA pre-sales[502-995-0883 (selected option 4 I believe)]. Take this with a grain of salt because they usually don't know the whole story, but they did confirm the specs on the M2R32-MVP for me and then said they had no knowledge of a Deluxe version coming down the pipe...
Hey rappy. I have the same one that I have been meaning to put in place but for the PC-V2100plusII. You can put the extra ones in typical temperature critical areas that you may want to keep an eye on. Put one next to the GPU and one next to the NB. Or since your GPU can most likely be monitored...
Hmmmm. Maybe try slimming down to 1 stick of memory. Remove/clean up the drivers/install, reboot and reinstall and see if that works. Could be related to that mem issue you had before.
Just took a look. The armor does looks nice. I already have my rig setup tho and I think the armor would be a bit too small. I gotta squeeze a tripple rad inside the case and its flippin huge! It was a stretch getting it inside my current one and the thing is ginormous. But it was nothing a...
For me it was purely a size thing. I wanted a completely internal water cooling loop and still have room for plenty of hard drive space. With the way it was laid out I was able to do it and still have room for 6 drives : )
