Garmin Forerunner 305 - $129.99 @ BB

The nearest BB that one in stock was 75 miles away. I, too, bought a refurb @ TigerDirect. The price 3 weeks ago works out to $0.30 more than the total (s/h/t) from BB for a non-reburb. A real good deal.

IT'S BACK 24" Soyo LCD for $299. @ Office Max is back

Picked one up on BF. After a week I have a very thin black horizontal line a third of the way from the top. Not too noticeable. But I bought the one-year warranty just for this reason. The more interesting thing which I can't blame on the monitor is that if I cold boot, after the Windows...

P35-DS3P f6 BIOS

Bump - answer I got from Gigabyte "Did you download the right BIOS for your board rev.?" I did. Next will be to try the f5 BIOS I used on my other P35-DS3P Any ideas

P35-DS3P f6 BIOS

I've update BIOS's before including to f5 on another DS3P. I've seen messages saying "Bad Checksum" and knew I had a bad file. But this doesn't say "Bad" after ckecking the file, it just says "Checksum = 5B00" I'm assumed this meant bad file. Downloaded and extracted again and got the same...

IT'S BACK 24" Soyo LCD for $299. @ Office Max is back

I just looked at tomorrow's OM ad. Don't see the 24" monitor. There's a 17" Soyo for $139.99 and a 19" for $159.99. I'm going to run by and see if it's an unadvertised special This was the upstate NY ad for 9/23-9/29

GA-P35-DS3R and Tuniq Tower 120

One suggestion from my experience with a P35-DS3P and the Tuniq. Don't screw down the PSU until you make all your power connections. This made it much easier to get my hands in to make connections. There's not much room between the TT and the back of the case.

2x Motherboards - one works, one doesn't

You can probably answer your own question by swapping the PSU's between the systems. I had to do that last weekend. Mine turned out not to be a PSU issue It's really not as much work as I thought, maybe 15-30 mins

Thanks fatmario. I was searching for P35-DS3P than tried P35-DS. Forgot that there was also a P35c- Looking at how I got around my problem and those in that thread, I'm still betting the problem is with the Trendnet. My 2 boards would also come from a different batch since it the DS3P...

fatmario I searched and browsed Tom's and only find one (very short) thread that was even close to this situation. What topic was it under? Yes, both boards came from Newegg (rev 1.1). I've had a number of MBs in the past that either would not work properly with a certain slot occupied...

Problem appears to be resolved. Tried changing power supplies, pulled MB from case, all the typical EXCEPT I left that $2.99 Trendnet wireless card in one of the PCI slots. Hadn't given it a second thought since I hadn't even gotten to a beep yet. Happened to pull it out to try something one...

Giga P35-DS3P - Nothing on boot

This is the second system I've built in a month with this board. 1st one is running great at 8 x 400. The new one, not even a beep. PS and fans start up for about 3 - 5 seconds, shuts off, starts again, fans for 3- 5, shut -off, etc, until I cut power. I thought there was a thread on this...
