Hi, Ashneel-- All you do is treat the deal like the CompUSA deal--you go into Fry's, tell them that you found the price at $199.97 at Best Buy, they verify it, you pricematch it at Best Buy's price and then you walk out with the drive and the $100 rebate form.

Weekend Fry's Deals (L.A. Times, 12/7/01)

Hi, Dan-- I'm pretty sure that WD 120GB drive is $199 after MIR, which would make it comparable to the CompUSA deal posted earlier this week. I just created a post about this so everybody who has access to a Fry's will have an opportunity to try to get in on this deal.

Hi, Tim-- The Best Buy Parklane store had 9 of them on Tuesday when I got my drive, but I'm not sure it has to be in stock, reading the price guarantee. Also, there's probably several other Best Buy stores that have them in stock around the Metroplex.

I just picked up the Dallas Fry's ad for this weekend, to peruse what might be available, and discovered two things: 1.) Fry's and Outpost.com have merged, and 2.) Fry's B&M stores have the same deal on the WD 120GB drive that CompUSA had! Fry's also has "The Complete Low Price Guarantee"...
