RAM Layout

Quick question on the correct layout of RAM. I have the Striker II Extreme and am just wondering with the two 2gb modules of DD3 1333mhz RAM whether I should put them in slot 1 and 3 or slot 1 and 2. I have always put my RAM next to each other in pairs however someone mentioned somewhere that...

Ways to get around software block

The it admins at work have taken it too far now! I plugged in my usb key as usual to boot up firefox portable and discover they have now blocked the use of exe's. I have tried renaming it to firefox.com or to firefox.bat but both of these are blocked. Do you have any other file extensions/ways I...

Ide to sata converter

Does anyone know of a good ide to sata converter? I just bought a new motherboard and it only has one ide port, however i have 4 ide drives. Does anyone know a good reliable, stable, fast converter for cheap? Thanks,

Lack of IDE
