Do you get a yellow ? in your device manager?
I had that issue with my Realtek HD Audio thing.. It showed it as a PCI device (yet it was onboard) with a yellow "?".. I removed it.. rebooted .. it reinstalled it and I was good.

Got 3DMark to work.. (NO idea how) just started working after memory tests.. But Starcraft during the install it kills my pc.. No idea why... I'm stumped on this.. Anyone ever experienced this?
EDIT: I got SC to install.. I used an external CD Burner.. Sounds like I have a bad...
Alright I ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool..
Put it on a CD and rebooted with CD Rom booting first and it ran a few passes on the extended test mode and found zero errors.. Doesnt appear to be memory..
I'm stumped! :(
Will attempt .. Its odd the computer does the memory test on ever bootup.. you would think it wouldn't be having issues like this since it says "OK!" after that before windows loads.. :P

one of the connectors can break in half.. I believe thats what you need to do to provide power to your motherboard.
Look for one that looks like a 8 pin connector.. 4 on top 4 on bottom.. 2 rows.. and see if you can split that connector.. Thats how my 600W PSU...

memtest shows my memory okay.. scans it says OK
Cant be a SATA issue since I got farther then the blue screen reformat process and into the XP installation after I reformatted.. I'm baffled!
Going to try disabling my NIC through my bios and try that since it appears to die at the network...
I dunno seems doubtful its this.. Because it happens at the exact same spot at the install every time..
Happened exact same spot in install for my friends XP disc, and exact same spot for my XP Disc.
