Remote access to newsgroups

I was wondering if there is any way to remotely access newsgroups. I have a Roadrunner connection here at home in Florida, and I want to be able to access this great newsgroup service back at college in NC. I really like the roadrunner newsgroups because they provide all of the popular groups...

No Page File...Better Performance?

I just put 512 more MB of RAM in my box and I have a lot of free ream now, so do you know if getting rid of the page file on the hard drive would speed things up overall? I know other people have discussed this and probably know the answer, but I searched the forums and didnt find a recent...

HokieESM, thanks for the good advice. I am glad I still have those beginning years to sort things out. And as Storm mentioned about advanced degrees, I hope to eventually get one. Thanks for all the advice!

Crappopotamus, if you are in it for the girls, I think you should look elsewhere... :) And, jumpr, I got into UM, but its size might not do it for me. Again, it does have the best education.

Yeah, I agree with you and I like the bias towards computers. I also want to hear from a lot of other people so I can get a good overall picture of the major (I am leaning most towards Comp. Eng.). Also, what kinds of jobs do Computer Engineers tend to have? It would be nice to hear from...

Ok, the extra clicking and stuff, yes it can be tedious, but i just HATE when it is a really long thread and I just want to respond to the first few posts. Quoting is so confusing too; I dont know where the original message was. I think they should be numbered, but no newsgroup style...
