The setup was purely bought for a gaming rig use, basically to be as fast as possible.. But since what your telling me is that I have bought the wrong setup (which is what I'm assuming your saying) then no matter :) I can have a nice 4 or 5 drive Raid 0 array for where my games are stored...

I cant seem to even hit that high, the best so far is around the 690mb/sec mark.. I thought this card could do 1.2Gb/sec or was I misreading it?? Is there anyway around this SAS command overhead at all?? Being a complete noob in this area isnt helping me at the moment :( Weird thing is...

Hi guys, I've recently been testing a few hard drives with a few different controllers. I recently started playing with SAS drives and when I found 6 73Gb 15k ones I jumped at all 6 and found they where amazing... Then I found 8 Seagate Cheetah 15k.5 drives which completely blew me away...

Could someone give me a helping hand?

I've got a newer bios, one that allows me to have a 1333 CPU strap, I thought that would help? I used to be able to run a 380FSB at 1066 for the CPU, but since I've flashed the bios, its not worked since. Weird... But do you think I could get 3.6Ghz stable without the blend test??

Could someone give me a helping hand?

I'm rock stable (10hrsplus of Orthos) at 9x390 @ 1.45vcore. My ram is set to 2.1v, my MCH is set to 1.62v.. If I go past 3.6Ghz with 1.55vcore its not stable, even with upping the MCH voltage and possibly the ram as well. I'm just looking for the moment, the best possible speed from the...

Could someone give me a helping hand?

Would I be best to lower the multiplier down then as with 9x401 that gives me 3.61Ghz, but it wont pass Orthos blend test.. Should lowering my ram timings help as well? I think that I had set it by the SPD so I assume it would know whats best for it anyway? Any thoughts?

How do I convert?

I have Nero Digital Recode 2.2.6.17c but its the free download version. I assume this is the problem? Would this be what I need? I could do with updating my burning software.... Or would one of these be better? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Utilities.html

I have only two options in Recode: Recode DVD's and Videos to Nero Digital Recode Main Movie to Nero Digital They dont have an option to change an AVI or MPEG 2 into something that will work on a DVD player or am I missing a option? I do like the Recode program.... :) Where it has...
