All about the money... think of it as a loan from customer to vendor (interest free of course).
1. The possibility that the buyer forgets to send in the rebate all together, vendor keeps money.
2. The chance that if customer miss one of the many requirements to fulfill the rebate, vendor keeps...

IMO, rebate setups like the one Sapphire is using is a big scam... no contact #'s and emails go into blackhole.
My total came out to $72.60 (stacked other coupons). Even if it's EIDE still works out for me. Anyone have any sucess getting it exchanged for a SATA drive?

Something like ING should not really be considered a 'retirement plan' since you're really thinking long term. Point of ING is high rates w/ liquidity.
Although this was a great price, I doubt I'll be buying from shoebuy again. Just called them again today, my order still hasn't shipped... and will not ship till midweek.
