So who's smart with Batch files?

Arrgh, I have a problem, this is probably a joke for some, but for the less skilled it's a pain in the GPU. I'm in my first year Networking, and we're learning how to make batch files!! (yay). Anyways, I need to write a batch to write my name to a text file. Now, I know there's EDIT...

Media Center aaahh!!!!!

Man, what is this with having hardly any functions in media center if you do'nt have the remote. I spend about 2 hours trying to find shortcut keys for media center because I don't have an MCE remote. Does anyone know the shortcut to changing displays? I want to change from coaxial to composite...

YOu're talking about Hyper threading, where the CPU is split to 1.5+Ghz 'virtual' proc's

I was dumb.... MCE small problem

I was trying to shortcut MCE, so I copied target and I accidently pasted the target and look in to be both C:\WINDOWS\ehome... can someone help me with what Target is suppose to be and what Look in is suppose to be? Also, how do you short cut Media Center? Thanks in advance, Mike

Sonata II - x800 Doesn't Quite Fit

loosen all mobo screws, press the board towards the rear of the case, hold it, and tighten screws... maybe that'll give you enough headroom. The screw holes are a bit bigger letting you have some play room to seat the board, but might off set it. My 2 cents.

"error loading operating system" it says that

make sure the hard drive is right after the CD in boot device priority you might have floppy, cd, HDD1, and your Hard drive is HDD0. MIke

Windows Explorer crashes every time video file is 'looked at'

I had same problem.. reinstall codecs... if it still does it, uninstall codec and install a new pack. Mike

Windows keeps rebooting over and over

I had the same problem when I didn't have enough power going into my computer.. weak psu/too many items plugged into the socket that the PSU is connected to.. Idont know if this is your problem but I had the same issue at a LAN party, until I got my own outlet, it wouldn't let me load windows...

There's places you can download JUST the SP2...an exe that you click and it installs for you... Don't remember where I got it though..

Asus HeatPipe Technology Questions?

The little fan on the A8N-SLI Deluxe I know causes many problems with breaking down, noisy, and just crappy.. if you look at other topics related to these boards, you'll see that the heatpipe is a lot better than the little tiny fan included on the Deluxe.

overclocking nvidia card?

I think you can use coolbits to overclock nvidia card.. http://www.overclockers.com.au/techstuff/a_coolbits/ As for how much to overclock, look on reviews on your specific card and see how far people were able to overclock it to.
