You have to contact Gigabyte. I believe only the GTS are guaranteed to have HDCP.

Why I'm not convinced R600 is crap

Sadly, there's no DX10 games out yet. I believe DX10s is a totally different beast than DX9 cards. Doesn't todays card have fixed function gpu vs. programmable gpu?

From a leak benchmark at the Video forum, RV630 are equivalent to 8600s. Which are disappointing.

Athlon X2 3800 65W version AM2 box cpu at frys.com

Brisbane is AMD's 65nm X2s. It's a nice chip, but it has a slightly lower cache speed.

Cannot Find HDA Audio bus driver....

You need to search Microsoft KB for the driver. Sorry, I have XP 64-bit. I ran into the same problem as you. The driver won't install until I installed the HD Audio driver from MS.

Question about stepping for a 5600+
