Looks like the San Diegos cold bug is worse than the Venice's

MSI K8TM no USB ports/hubs?

I had a computer with a VIA based AXP motherboard and CPU in an Antec Aria case. This ran XP+SP2 and had working USB. I then swapped the motherboard (MSI K8TM-ILSR) and CPU (A64 3000+), leaving all other components identical. I tried to boot Windows in safe mode to see if it would upgrade ok...

Team Anandtech Public SETI Queues: Part III

My Internet speed is 10 mbit up and down. I can get 100 MBit up and down, but that costs $120 a month. The 10 mbit costs $37 a month. It's an ethernet Internet connection, no DSL stuff. There's a Cisco router in our basement and a GBit fibre to the backbone. I do live in a civilized country. ;-)...

Creative RW121032E/Plextor 1210A firmware?

I've got a Creative RW121032E CD-RW driver, identical to Plextor model 1210A I think. I've seen it can also appear as IOmega and some other brands. I need to upgrade the firmware, but Creative doesn't have any recent firmwares, the latest one doesn't work on W2000 either. I've found a page...

Does the NForce2 PCI/AGP lock affect performance???

100.0 % of all nForce2 overclocks use PCI lock since nForce2 locks the PCI at 33 MHz, no matter what you change in BIOS. AGP can be set to any frequency you like, regardless of your FSB setting, for example "locked" at 66 MHz, or you can overclock the AGP frequency without changing the FSB...

Cant even boot up my Asus A7N8X, need help ASAP!!!

If you have checked all possible options, clear CMOS, follow the manual. If this doesn't work, it's time for RMA. It is a common problem still on A7N8X.
