They (amdgpu devs) broke it. Is there a smu reset failure in syslog? My Neon distro based on 6.11 so no luck for me ) Supposedly fixed in mainline kernels, and again, the issue is gfxoff (who would have thought? IIRC this has been pain in the ass for devs for about 5 years? )

Well, the reality is sobering:
Nvidia is not interested in making gaming GPU ($2.5 vs $35.5 bn Q4 revenue).
Why should AMD(?), if sending all available wafers to the epyc/mi300 5D-printer makes them 3x more money?
Game over, kids.
Prices of XTs are basically in line with those in EU, i.e. €900-1100 + some "totalitarian" premium.
Either way, it's the same fake MSRP story as with the RTX 5000 launch.
Maybe cost wouldn't justify the outcome?
Not that it's a strong representative, but take note of XT -> XT-OC, the scaling still holds while the output is 4x more pixels.

RX 9070XTX (yes, why not?) almost at 5080 and 5070 ti level performance (non-RT/RT). I think good-old EK water block would just nail it...
