I can't say enough good things about the Vornado fan. We live in a very odd-shaped condo (long and narrow, and on the top floor), and we have a loft where it gets MIGHTY hot. Regular fans didn't work, but this one sure did. Got it from Overstock in about 2 days.

Just FYI - all PayPal transactions - even logins - are done from secure servers (https://...) - one more thing to watch for.

Not true - there are a ton of places that charge reasonable shipping rates. Don't get me wrong; I don't object at all to paying a premium above the actual shipping cost. What I do object to is paying 2x or 3x, with no allowance for the fact that multiples cost way less.

The actual shipping for this item is about $2.60 USPS, which makes $6.95 a gouge. My big gripe, though, is that they don't give any break for buying quantities (if you buy 20, you pay 20*$6.95).
