Warm - Toshiba Satellite 1415-S115 Laptop $950 at Costco

I have a Toshiba Laptop with a 1.8 celeron and think it is pretty fast! I'm not gamming with it and use it CAD drawing, email and some web browsing. I've been told the current celerons are basically P4 architecture with a smaller L2 memory cache.

I got two of the four rebates so far, two to go... Oh ya, I sent the Laptop to Toshiba for a bad left mouse button on the touchpad. Called last Monday 6/7, got a return box from them on Tuesday 6/8, sent box and Laptop Tuesday 6/8 (they pay shipping Airborne Overnite), they repaired it 6/10...

High Aspect Ratio Monitors with WinNT 4.0

How can I get my new Sony 24" Monitor (16:10 ratio) to work with NT 4.0. If I stretch the screen out to meet the side of the CRT, the image distorts. I use the monitor for a CAD Program and need the geometry to show correctly during my drafting. I can't find anything on the MS web site and Sony...

Any differences between Linksys LNE100TX NIC versions?

I have used the version 2 and the version 4.1 cards. When I changed the OS to W2K on each of the 4 PC's on my LAN, I had problems with the V2 cards not working (W2K couldn't match the H/W and the S/W). The latest driver updates wouldn't load at all. I sent the cards back to Linksys and they...
