Win2k Sluggish

From ur description, seems the sluggishness noticed is only at windows 2k bootstrap/load time. You didn't complain as loud for normal operation, right? Just leave it on, win2k is supposed to be able to run weeks contnuously. Otherwise, if your intrigued enough, enable bootlog next time and...

if you opt for features and options, hands down - G6FTP server is the one. now it's merged with bulletproof-ftp. If you aim for a high-volumn ftp site, go with IIS5 + ISA server

Poll: On your linux box do you run day-to-day as root, or only special circumstances?

I run routine work in normal user in a general group like genusr; while typically logon as root on another virtual terminal w/o gui, so when you need to use sledgehammer, just alt-f*** while on my win pc, i am always domain admin, cause windows is bulletproof ... laugh?
