    CDROM Problem

    I changed cases for my wife's PC. The hardware went back in the same place. I booted to CD just fine. In WinXP, the CD drive exists, but when I stick a CD in it, nothing happens. If I select the drive to explore it, I am told to put a CD in the drive. What should I do?

    What Board?

    I just need a cheap, reliable board for development. I've never bought a brand name PC. I've got a big ATX tower with a nice 350W PS. I don't need graphics, except great 2D and multimedia.     HELP!!! Upgrading CPU problems...

    The Prescott 2.4GHz 533 was supported. I didn't notice that the Celeron D is only supported at 2.8GHz, not the 2.4GHz I have. This board is not real good, a Gigabyte GA-8VT800-L. It didn't boot with my Prescott 2.4 but that was before I updated the BIOS. I've never had these compatability issues...

    Boot Problem

    My PC won't boot without a bootable CD in the drive. It blue screens every time in Win XP Pro. With a bootable CD in the drive, it will boot immediately every time. Any ideas?

    HELP!!! Upgrading CPU problems...

    I haven't tried it. It's a brand new board, hasn't been out that long. Can't see why it would have a problem, but I'll try it. I did replace the PS, and almost everything else, so I'll try the BIOS upgarde.
