ENABLING THE DEFAULT DMZ SERVER WORKED!!! (no more random disconnections when using apps) however, i want to know why port forwarding in this case was insufficient?

i get random disconnects in aim, and sometimes while running online games, can anyone help me please? the activity lights on the router seem to stop for a while, then they will start blinking afterwards once again directly connected to the router ports are forwarded ping to other sites is...

Intel => AMD cpu speed CONVERSION?

the chip came installed with my dell 4600 Vee: according to your post, intel M is better than intel p4, so would an Inspiron 8600 with 1.6-1.8ghz pent M stack up well against my current cpu?

i dont think i should overclock, because i like the lifetime warranty on bfg products mobo drivers that you speak of = chipset drivers? (aren't chipset drivers supposed to be installed after the operating system?) edit: halo 1024x768 max settings, application-controlled AA, AF: 55.26 fps...

yes, it is DEFINITELY running way too hot my bfg is low 40's upon bootup/idle and mid 50's after some intense graphics processing

regarding c o o l b i t s

is there any way to prevent the flicker that occurs @ every startup, after a successful overclock? -AND- is there anyone else who loses the nvidia system tray icon after an overclock?

games work fine, except for halo, which i cant get higher than 46 fps on 800x600 w/ all details on, AA and AF are set to application controlled (in its built-in benchmark) => can anyone help, or is this normal? resting temp: 43 C post-action temp: mid 50 C i ask you, is this normal?
