How's the Crucial MX100?

Got my 512gb MX100 in. Cloned from my old Patriot Pyro 120gb, which replaced a Torqx that died on me. Cloned with Acronis 2014 copy and was back at my desktop in 10 minutes. I won't lie, can't notice the speed difference whatsoever, but I was buying for the space anyway. Great deal for this...

how would you adapt a slow cooker recipe for the stove?

If you have a dutch oven I'd put it in that and braise it in the oven for some temp/time ratio. Lower temp and longer time will simulate a slow cooker better. Just not as energy efficient as the slow cooker.

How to battle running cramps?

Magnesium (chelated). IE not magnesium oxide. Magnesium glycinate, magnesium citrate work. Fixed it for me.

Worth fixing Corsair TX 650

Looking for low DPI 5 button mouse

My last microsoft explorer mouse has died. I had the one in the picture below. I'm looking for something 400ish DPI or adjustable to that range. 5 buttons only. No rubberized surface. I'd prefer one that doesn't correct my input, but I don't do much FPS gaming, so that's not a requirement...

Does anyone still get the AMD 7xxx bug where your monitor doesn't wake up from sleep?

This has come back for me in the recent drivers. It's not even sleep for me. If I set the monitors to turn off but not sleep, I still have to hard reset because they won't power back up. It wouldn't be too annoying, except one of my monitor's power buttons is broken, so I have to poke in there...

What do you dislike about your car?

04 G35 Coupe The seat belt holder mechanism thing that allows people to get in the back seat. Stops the seat belt retracting and I have to stuff it back there manually. Annoying.

What has been you guys CPU upgrade path?

Intel Pentium II 233 mhz AMD Thunderbird 700 mhz AMD Barton 2500+ Intel C2D E6400 Intel i7 860 Intel i5 3570K Been a bit more of an upgrade junkie recently, it seems.

SIM City 5 - Actual Strategy Discussion

This is what pisses me off more than anything about this game. The more I played and develop regions, the worse and worse cities did due to traffic. I stopped playing for this reason. I have no desire to watch queues of cars get stuck and destroy my infrastructure. What a waste of money.

This means either you built it on top of a polluted water table, or your treatment plant lacks sufficient capacity to deal with all the sewage, at which point it dumps raw sewage. If it's working properly it will dump clean water.

Yes, you do need enough room to educate everyone, but university's provide full coverage since sims can use mass transit to get to them. That being said, running overnight it's also entirely possible you had zombies or something else eat/destroy your population. My cities are running fine with...
