Ok so I have epocx 8gka mobo with built on sound.. I go to adjust the bass and treble and they are greyed out. Is this a need for an audio codec? I have updated the sound drivers from epox's website... but still no go. Anyone seen this before? I know dell adressed this issue with a driver...
So far I hit full load with tempurature near 55c. I have an antec fan 4700rpm it seems to be doing a good job - I may get something better to bring it down but haven't had any problems yet.

It was the motherboard, one quick trip to fry's electronix and they exg it and tested the cpu on a new board... I just hope epox boards dont make a habit of failing.

yeah you just hook the phono plug of the cassette player into the input of the sb live - and then record the input. once you have it to wav format you can then burn it to cd.
