Sound Problem! HELP!!!!

I can't profess to be any kind of a sound or laptop expert, but I may be able to help you troubleshoot some. 1. In your volume control, the wave volume slider should be all the way up, not the balance. The balance should be in the middle, which means that the volume is evenly distributed...

Newell speaks: Evil Sony Empire and it's software monopoly.

Just know that it's going to take a lot longer before the consoles are realistically pushed to their limits. Some select companies that are "in" with Sony may get additional "help" with that, but Sony doing something like this kills off the chances of many indie developers working on PS3.

Dumping AMD64-going back to pentium goodness

I don't see that you tried replacing your memory in there. Memory is the number one cause for instability in systems, and memtest can't gaurantee to be completely right, as WoW and closing of IE has shown you. I'd say...before you try an Intel set-up, do yourself this one last check of putting...

A Few Good G-Men

Finally, a good HL2 machinima of sorts that takes advantage of the lip syncing. I wasn't a big fan of the Breaking Benjamin vid, they really should have used some different models. This vid doesn't necessarily need different models because they fit well enough into the context.

Next-Gen Gaming Goodness?

No, that was pretty sucky. As a gamer/computer enthusiast, I appreciated the official spec sheet from xbox.com more than the "showing of hardware" that the MTV special did. Also, the games shown on MTV were bad games to pick to show off the sheer power of the new console. As far as next...

Official Xbox 360 Specs Sheet!!!

Almost agreed. Most of the games showed look like they're completely capable on this generation of consoles. Complete bull crap. However, several of EA's games looked obviously better than current-gen games, as much as I hate to say it. Here's to hoping the Unreal 3 engine is actually taken...
