I always thought refurbish meant reconditioned or freshing up. Manufacturers check the parts so it meet specs. Items sold that were customer returns are open box items.
It's a little misleading to sell refurbish stuff that were never refurbished but "tested" by previous owner.

I know exactly what you mean. I think I'm just lazy to get off the couch and put in a movie. Most of the time it takes me a while to decide which movie to watch. If it's on TV then I don't need to decide. The only thing is the quality of the picture is not as good and the editing.
My girlfriend bought a house last year and she didn't have to verify employment or salary. Think you need 20% down and very good credit. She went thru Bank of America and got a pretty good rate at the time.
I'm in the process of building an entertainment PC and have a question on the playback quality of recorded shows using the AIW video card. The PC will only be connected to the TV. How big of a difference in the quality from watching TV live to watching the recorded TV?

I was at Walmart picking up some misc. stuff and found this on a clearance rack. They had 3 of them and one was the newer version (33% faster). I already have one but I got one for my dad.
