well i had this guy help me and we did the site a little differently so it worked. But yea it had to do with floats and how i was defining each content area.

yea well what id id and it seemed to work, is forward externally port 6882 (what i set apache to) then intenrally port 80 ... so that way it kind of "bypassed" verizon's block. And yea, i still need to iron out my networking. I haven't done it for awhile and am a ilttle behind taht's why this...

hey guys, I was wrong, i thought apache was set but... i got it tow ork then i took my router and modem downstairs (disconnected and depowered them etc) and now a[ache doesn't work... is there any specific router/modem settings thata re reset when moving it like that?

i finally got filesharing,printing, apache etc. to work. Filesharing through workgroups and just allowing it in preferences. Printing, actually our printer died yesterday (wel today i haven't gone to bed yet it's 2am haha) and so we got another one and it had wireless G on it so it's a network...

the router is a linksys WRT110 the modem is a westell 2200 i just find out my westell is also a router ... just not wireless like i need... maybe that's my issue with apache... since i have technically 2 routers. Okay so i got apache to internally show up if i use internal and external...

I have made sure that the gateways are actually 192.168.2.1 and yes the router is set up for the lan ip to be 192.168.2.1 and the dhc p to be 192.168.2.100-106 and nothing can conec t ot this router.

Is thre any reason that my router would work and be green accross the board... BUT when i try to connect into it through 192.168.2.1 it says.... he connection was refused when attempting to contact 192.168.2.1. If anyone knows why this would happen and how to fix it so i can actually log into...

Okay so i got file sharing up, but when i try to add the printer from teh XP computer it doesnt' find it... any help... like i go into add printer, more printers, windows printing, malikk (my workgroup), then i put in the username password of the login for the computer with the printer and it...
