I'd like to make a batch file which does something like the following, definitely on chrome and maybe firefox remove all history that contains *sometext1* remove all history that contains *sometext2* remove all history that contains *sometext3* remove all cookies that contain *sometext1*...

VPN with malware option, or Malware with VPN option?

anyone with a Fujitsu A531 laptop

how quiet is your fan? I've just replaced mine after 5 years, because the orig seemed to be getting louder (bearings, fluff etc), the new one...seems to be...not as quiet as I thought it would be. small fans = not quiet etc, maybe it's on spin up rather than full speed

Question PC randomly reboots

I was recently having blue screens......W7...once every 7-10 days. it turned out to be iastora.sys, which didn't like me adding an SSD to the secondary SATA (laptop). I changed to ATAPI.sys and it fixed it I'm not sure how W10 deals with re starts compared to W7. I'm assuming W10 isn't set to...

Question timelapse tool

that isn't "timelapse tool" (mainly because they want about £40 for it) I have a few 100 images, I want to create an mp4 timelapse from them. features I need are..... ability to rotate the image before creating the video (I took them with the camera at 90 degrees) ability to set the time pause...

if anyone was wondering, I boughty a Viewsonic VP2458 mainly because the image is brighter and/or crisper. the Dell U2419's display just didn't seem to be as crisp as it could be. might have been the anti glare coating dear Viewsonic:whatever focus group decided to put the buttons on the rear...

Hi, so...I have a kensington orbit, which I bought specifically because I want to use the trackball, as page scroll (and not as mouse pointer) I didn't check it could do this before I bought. which is why I bought from Amazon so I could return it if needed... kensington says this t/ball model...

hey...so...about to send back a Dell U2419H that I've been trying for 2 weeks because.... display whites just don't look quite as bright and white - could be the anti glare coating ....which means I end up spending more time trying to adjust it using the buttons ....which are mounted...

3.5" HDDs

are there many reasons to have low-capacity (under 2TB) 3.5" hard drives now? So before SSD's came along, you wanted as fast a drive as possible for your windows, which 3.5" gave I've just bought a couple of 1TB drives, 2.5", just for data storage. for a few reasons- - 2.5" take up less room...

WD Black 4TB clicking noises.

edit- yeah, I just copied and pasted the link you provided in the post :p. I've had a 2.5" WD sata drive connected to a USB hub, that did the same. afaik...normal drive operation. it MIGHT...have an effect if you don't have the drive letter expanded in windows explorer
