What Version of IE you got Installed? In add/remove check the box that says show all updates, and see if there are any "updates or anything for IE you can uninstall. Also Check IE for Plugins or what not clear cache check what applications it has set to use for the various things. If you haven't...

need to format FAT32 greater than 32Gb in WinXP, how?

Ghost 2003 By Far the best and Most versatile backup tool ever created. (I bought Ghost 10 But use the 2003 it comes with the most just because of this.) Cant read from NTFS to do a restore it does back them up flawlessly however. So Generally a FAT32 part is needed to store the GHO files...

Installing clean XP Home using OEM number on computer case?

You can or should if they are they Same type as explained above. How do you check? Look for a Install folder on the HDD Most OEMs place the XP files on the HDD for adding Hardware and such. Search for a folder named i386 of the HDD, /windowsoptions/cabs - is another folder I've found them...

$1000 to upgrade this system, looking for advices

You may needa BIOS Update but an X2 will work just fine in that MB. Other then that you got a pretty good RIG. Unless Build a new C2D RIG your not gonna get much better. Take your budget and Buidla new rig for the Kid
