Need help, friends hardware troubleshoot!

Take out everything, left only board and processor switch on, there should be a beep sequence, if no beep at all then your proc are possibly dead

Cabling with UTP, do each colored cables have different resistance ?

There are 4 pair twisted cable inside the UTP cable, should i crimp it in special order, or i can pick any color ? ie. i take red for pin 1, red/white for pin2, green for pin3, green/white for pin 4 etc. My friend told me that each color have a different resistance, is that correct ? Thx Andy

How to replace standard windows delete with a permanent delete program?

Check Don't move the file to Recycle Bin That will make it permanent.... But if you dont want permanent setting, you can press <shift> when deleting file(s), so your file wont be delivered to recycle bin.... up to you

I dont have any problems, i think kernel panic is not caused by Duron/T-bird processor but you can try upgrading your kernel, 2.4.5 especially

Wow cool ... Thx alot AndyHui btw, where can i learn about this vbs, and windows variables like urls, ur,ul etc (vbs = vbscript ? am i correct ?) ? your post give me some other new idea, if I can control the keyboard stroke via script.

Which Linux Suse files do I need?

I guess you're right. You have download this suse and all of their component. You'll need all of them if you do full install, but if you want to customize, you only need some.

Thx for the reply.... but, i meant not the file size... like this, say, i have 8 gigs harddisk or more, can i place 8 million files each file is 1Kbytes, on it's root directory ? that is for example... i wouldnt do that anyway:) if i cant, how many files is the limit ?
