Boot X prevents windows 7 install

I'm fixing a friends computer and we've run across a problem where on the HD there is a Boot X partition in addition to the 100MB reserved partition. The windows 7 install goes fine until it asks for the serial number. When the install reaches that stage then it stops working. Does anyone...

New Computer build problem!

Sounds like a driver glitch related to the monitors going into sleep mode and not coming back. I'd check ATI's forums to see if others have experienced a similar situation.

Autoduel

Does anyone remeember this game back in the day for the C64? I used to spend hours playing this game, picking up missions from local AADA's in towns and running cargo to other towns...or playing a vilgilante or pirate terrrorizing the cargo runners going from town to town. Wouldn't this game...

DVD drive won't work

Make sure your SATA controller has the most up to date drivers. If that doesn't work, try plugging in the drive to another SATA port. Finally, if you have a known good DVD drive hanging around, install that and see if it works. Hope this helps.

DSL modem question

Verizon upgraded the hardware for free because we're such loyal customers, lol. They're sending a westell 6100. Overall it turned out ok..thanks for the help guys!

Unfortunately the dsl modem they got is extremely old since they've had DSL for awhile now. Here's hoping they offer a free upgrade. :)

ok, just checked newegg and the card I have in mind is 10.5 inches long. If you're checking it would be a huge help just to see if it might fit in that case. Thanks again!

That would be a huge help. The measurements on the specs pafe for newegg doesnt match the diagram in the pics. What are your overall impressions with using the 300? Easy to work with? Tooless design?
