Has anyone ever tapped into there USB too power a 5 or 12v fan?

I know USB is five volts, not sure about the current.

Building a case: Comments & Advice?

I considered building myself a wooden case a while back, but, in the end concluded that it would be almost impossible. I have several years of set construction for theater behind me, but, to do it well, you'd really need to be an accomplished cabinet maker. You'd need a pretty complete workshop...

Midiland S4 4060s?

I'm looking to upgrade my old Cambridge Soundworks PCworks speakers, and, as I don't really need 4.1 or 5.1, I'm thinking a nice 2.1 setup would be the thing for me. I'm really digging the Midiland S4 4060, but, I can't figger out where to buy them, I checked newegg, mwave, bestbuy, and Circuit...

I finally got around to buying Partition Magic, and now I just need to get around to figgering it out. The deal is my OS partion, C:/, is 3 gigs, and the programs/ files partion, D:/. is 17-odd gigs. Needless to say, C:/ could be a little bigger, as I'm running XP. But, whenever I try and resize...

Check out newegg, they got some fans by a company called Galaxy for around eight, I think. Also, check out svc, this might be your best best, they've got a bunch of options for around five.

Thinking of adding LCD to case

I'm not sure about the Crystalftrontz LCDs, but, I think most of them are parallel port. It doesn't say if it comes connected or not, but, http://www.overclockers.com.au/techstuff/a_diy_lcd/ is a how-to on how to connect up a parallel port deal. As useless as this post is, consider it a bump for...

chieftec fans?

I just picked up the blue Chieftec at Newegg for like fifty bucks, and I am extremely pleased with it; it's my first "nice" case. I love the fanse that came with it, they seem to move considerably more air than the L1As, and are reasonably quiet. My question for you gentlemen it, where can I get...

Good/cheap temp probes

I'm looking for a simple, fairly cheap temp probe. I'd like to go under twenty, including s/h. So far, the best I've seen is the CompuNurse or whatever over at icoolpc for fifteen, w/out s/h. Anyone seen anything better?

Best water cooling radiator

Try gitting a big ole 120mm or at least a 92 to pump some air through that radiator; it'd be the cheapeast, and most likely the best, way to get those temps down.
