xbox to notebook

Anyone know a tutorial or can tell me how to hook up an xbox to play on a notebook. specifically the dell 700m? I have he advanced AV pack...but I'm not sure how to hook it up. I think I have everything plugged in, but not sure if i need software in addition to start it up. I read that...

Indeed they have (2) $20 rebates available, but I think you can only collect on one of them since they both require the original upc. THe more I look at it, it looks like the same rebate, just different cosmetic difference in layout. I would only bet on getting 1-$20 and 1-$10 rebate back on...

700m problems

I just recently bought the 700m from the dell 750 off 1500 sale. I am not completly satisfied with the purchase. ANyone who bought this model happy with its performance? I can't tell if I got a defective item. The computer keeps crashing and I accessing the cd-rw/dvd from is questionable at...

Whoo, I just cashed in on a dell (700M) like most people did yesterday. Now I am wondering what are "cheap" but good options for a wireless router. I've never gone wireless before so light shed upon the subject will help me alot getting something I won't have problems with. Thanks

serial ata raid-what is it?

help with virus problem

Corrupted winsock is what I know is what the problem. I ran a ping test and I get the host unknown, so I am sure it is the winsock problem. I used the win2fix.exe and it got rid of all my winsock files, now I don't know where to get them back? I tried the Lspfix.exe, but that won't work...

help with virus problem

I ran geek superhero and was able to get rid of all the spyware stuff infected the computer. The only thing left is something called "power scan" program I can't get rid of. Also, now something is messed up with my internet connection. I get a dns error and can't connect to the internet...

heatsink and fan for p4

Can anyone recommend me any decent priced heatsink and fan options for my p4 3.0ghz processor? I am looking for one in the range of $-15. Any advice and experience people have with their heatsink fan choices would be appreciated. Thanks

cpu heat sink gel question

How difficult is it to remove the cpu after you stick the heatsink on with the gel? I want to get my comp up and running, but using a temp motherboard until i get the one I really want. I don't do alot of customizing so I am unsure the difficulty of switching out cpu's and motherboards after...
