Abit KT7 and Geforce 1 problems

Ok i just installed a abit kt7 RAID with a 900mhz AMD thunderbird processor, i installed my ORIGIONAL geforce on the system and i go to benchmark the card with 3dmark 2000 on the new system and it gets a worse rating than my 300mhz comp. i have the NEWEST detonator drivers and my video rating is...

Abit KT7 Raid and Thunderbird 900

I just ordered my Abit KT7 RAID and an AMD thunderbird 900. so my question is am i going to NEED a 300watt Power supply? any advice would be helpful. :D

Scandisk Problems

Ok, i recentley put a second hard drive in my computer (little 6.4 gigger just for space) and it worked fine for about a month or so. recentely it decided to die. every time i pass the 4.5 gig mark on the hard drive (install anything that goes over 4.5 gigs used on the drive) its a total lock up...

WinME vs. Win98SE

WinMe wins hands down. 98SE has many peoblems in it and ME is much more stable and fixes most of them, the final release is very good. definatley the best version of windoes aside from Win2k.

Cheap a$$ oc'd system

Can anyone tell me if this would be a good setup for a new system and if it would be stable :D AMD Duron 600 (or thunderbird 600)OC'd to 900-950 ABIT K7 mobo 128+ megs of pc 133 ram (good price link anyone?) so anyone know if this would be good setup? sounds good to me for price :) thanks

New PC - Freezing!

its windows 98 se :) ive had/heard of NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH IT. but seriousley, windows98 se has caused several problems for me and my friends after installing it. like random freezes/crashes/blue screens of death...(more than with regular windows :D) and for q3 FPS, (dont remember console...

ive never heard of anything like that but you might want to try the basic fixes :) new drivers for motherboard, video card (might be compatability fix in drivers) etc etc hope this helps :)

Puter freezes while still loading Windows

heres a thought physically remove everything thats nonessiental to your pc. take out sound card, modem, NIC if you have one. just the bare bones of the computer, if it goes into windows then add 1 thing back at a time. also you might want to remove all the drivers for these in device manager first
