bizzare monitor/video card problem?

hmm, im gonna try a vga cable tonite and see if that works. i was actually just thinking it could be a defective dvi cable. just kinda weird since it was just working. i dont have another computer to check the vid card though.

bizzare monitor/video card problem?

so i turned off my working computer and monitor for the weekend while i was away. i came back and turned on the computer only to find my monitor displaying bizarre colors and shapes on the screen. the mobo beeps, but i cant see bios or windows anything running. just these colors and shapes on...

wireless on a laptop - centrino vs usb vs pcmcia

i have a dell inspiron 600m with centrino wireless technology. it doesnt seem to pick up a signal that well anymore. im wondering, can i disable it and maybe use a usb adapter or a pcmcia card instead? will my reception be any better (i think the centrino uses the screen as its antenna, which...

just bought these and the sound is excellent as far as the sub goes, use your volume settings or bypass settings (i have sb audigy zs) and you can control it much better

right, ive heard about that 2001fp. however, i am not sure if i need 21" or so of monitor. its also expensive in the low $700s. i was hoping that gaming performance would increase the smaller the monitor. for that reason as well as price, i think i was looking at maybe 17" or 18" monitors.

ive been thinking about getting an lcd screen for a while now, mainly for the decrease in footprint. the question is, how do they perform in terms of gaming? with response rates down to 12ms or so, how do they compare to crt monitors?
