WOW I honestly don't know if that is possible, and I don't know the program you're using, so I have to ask if you're sure it's the right program for that BIOS ? Normally, different brands of BIOS chips need different programs for reading and programming (afaik), so I'd suggest get a program...

Do you have at network card in your machine ? If so, try and give a TCP/IP address, I understand that this might help.

Windows won't install on new computer

Is that an original Win CD, of is it a backup copy ? If it's a copy, it might simply be that your CDROM can't read the CD. If not, try fiding the specifc drivers for the CDROM drive and put those on your boot disk.

Problem adding extra CDROM to system

Sorry, my bad. My casing is an Aopen HQ08 w. a 300 W power supply. In the meantime I've switched just about *all* the drives around, and so far it seems to work (but you never know :-)
