Netgear MR814 keeps hanging me up!!!

Without the router, the cable works just fine. With the router, if lucky, you get 3 to 4 min of surfing and then it just get disconnected. I had to turn off the router, or maybe even the modem to get it back to work. I'm using RCN cable, seems everything are supposed to just leave as auto...

Unusually slow data transfer rates from cd drives (also causes system slowdown)...

I'm having almost exactly the same problem with my cd-drive. I followed what Pink0 said, still no good. My cd-drive is on different cable from the primary HD. it runs extremely slow even under Linux. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
